   Dear Reader,

   Whether you’re comfortably opening this letter by the fireplace while sipping on an iced brandy or parousing this blog via twitter on your iPhone in an airplane after cleaning up your neighbor’s spilled Coke from all over your new scarf, you’re doing so through a computer. If you have any brains at all, you’re using a Windows machine, or better yet, a Linux or FreeBSD-type setup. However, you might have at some point said to yourself: “Self, you’re an intelligent guy, but I’ve always wondered — What is the best operating system?” Now I don’t claim to offer an answer just yet, but I, in my infinite wisdom, have compiled (!) the Top 7 Versions of the Windows branch of the Operating System Tree of Life.
